TAQA Certificate
The Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance Certificate Level 3, commonly abbreviated to TAQA certificate, qualifies you to assess learners in the workplace and in classroom learning environments.
This qualification is suitable for anyone working in a learning and workplace environment. It provides practitioners with the skills and confidence to assess the achievement of competence in their learners.
This course consists of two units:
– Unit 301 assesses a candidate assessor’s knowledge of the principles and practices of assessment in a learning and development context.
– Unit 302 assesses a candidate assessor’s competence in assessing the occupational competence of others.
Entry Requirements:

Applicants will need to complete an application form and a skillscan.

You should be qualified to a minimum Level 3 prior attainment in the area you wish to assess in and have at least 2 years post qualification experience, with sufficient occupational competency in the area you wish to assess.

To undertake the full Award you are required to have access to two learners in vocational training.

Duration:
The course will take approximately 6 months to complete.
