Experienced Apprenticeship Tutor & Assessor

Central Training Group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Apprenticeship tutor/assessor to join their team to deliver apprenticeship training with a variety of different public sector organisations.

𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴

-Ensure that learners have positive learning experiences and achieve their qualification aims on time in accordance with their individual learning plans and apprenticeship agreements.

-Deliver functional skills including support to learners where required.

-Prepare teaching and learning materials, session plans and deliver course content to learners.

-Maintain evidence of learner contact/delivery sessions.

-Complete regular learner progress reviews.

-Ensure that learner work is marked, and feedback given.

-Ensure learners are prepared for gateway and the relevant end point assessment.

𝘘𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴

-The successful applicant will need to hold a full assessor’s award, TAQA or equivalent and have experience of delivering Functional Skills in English and Maths.

-A minimum of 5 years’ experience of Apprenticeship delivery and assessment is required, and the successful applicant must have strong vocational skills in Business Administration and Customer Service. Experience of delivering Team Leading and Management would also be advantageous.

-You must have achieved Grade A*-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths, and a teaching qualification is desirable but not essential. Strong ICT skills, organisation skills, and the ability to work on your own initiative are essential and you must also have experience in using electronic portfolios.
