Central Hairdressing Academy have been delivering specialist Barbering apprenticeships for 40 years. Training is delivered by our industry expert, highly trained staff who are passionate about imparting their skills and knowledge to apprentices. This apprenticeship is perfect for those who would love to specialise in Barbering and enables progression into an exciting career.

This professional standard is ideal for those learners aged over 16 who have left school and wish to start a career within a barber’s shop. Learners are required to be employed and will achieve all elements of the Barbering Apprenticeship at Level 2. Apprentices will work in a busy barber’s shop assisting the barbers whilst learning the skills of barbering by completing cutting, outlines and detailing, cutting, razoring and shaving facial.

Entry Requirements:

No prior skills are required, but great interpersonal skills are a must as you will be dealing with clients.
