This professional standard is ideal for those learners aged over 16 who have left school and wish to start a career within a barber’s shop. Learners are required to be employed and will achieve all elements of the Barbering Apprenticeship at Level 2. Apprentices will work in a busy barber’s shop assisting the barbers whilst learning the skills of barbering by completing cutting, outlines and detailing, cutting, razoring and shaving facial.
