Employers who provide young people with meaningful work experience placements can receive up to £4000 government incentives.
As an employer you can receive up to £4,000 by providing a traineeship work placement and then an apprenticeship work placement to a young person.
How the £4000 government incentives will be paid?
If you provide a traineeship work placement for a 16-24 year old you will receive £1,000. (Find out more here).
If you employ an apprentice you will then be paid £3,000 for a 16 to 18 year old or £1,500 for a 19+ year old. (More info can be found here).
