It’s been a busy end to the year. We’ve seen the appointment of a new managing director, a brilliant conference uniting all of Central Training Group (CTG) under one roof, and have lots of exciting things to look forward to in the new year. Keep reading to find out more about what has been happening and what’s to come in Central Training Group’s December Highlight 2022.
Meet Central’s New Managing Director
Most of you will be very familiar with Prim. Afterall, she has been working at Central for over 25 years! And what a journey it has been! We managed to grab a few words from her about her career at Central:
“I joined Central back in 1993 as a administrative assistant, and have always loved the dedication that the company has to help young people develop their careers. My wish is to continue to push the company forward in a bid to help even more young people reach their full potential”

Following the retirement of Andrew Wright in October, Prim has been taking great strides to take the company forward. In her first 2 months, along with the board, they have organised a successful staff conference for all of Central Training Group. Prim is busy securing extra funding for projects that will diversify Central’s offerings, and has her eyes set on staff development and improving continuous quality across the board.
Central Training Group Conference
Hosted by the lovely Clair Orton (pictured) at the very chic Spiritland, Royal Festival Hall London, the Central Training Group Conference was a massive success. It pulled together people and teams throughout CTG and gave everyone a chance to find out about other parts of the business.
There was a chance to hear from our latest CTG Centres in Aylesbury and Rotherham
Central Training Aylesbury is our new provision in Buckinghamshire where Karen Cox leads our Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development programmes for 16 to 24 year olds.
Central Training Rotherham, is our new sports provision in Rotherham and specialise in study Programmes and Traineeships for 16-19 year olds. Ryan McKnight gave a excellent talk about careers and opportunities in sport.
There were many excellent talks from many of our centres, and a very engaging talk from our customer service traineeship employer SwiftSwitch.
All in all the conference was a success, and we look forward to many more in the future.
