Andrew Wright Retires As Managing Director

Andrew Wright Retires

Today we announce the retirement of Andrew Wright as Managing Director of Central Training Group.

Andy has been at Central for 30 years, and has helped make it to the thriving training provision it is today.

Martin Kolton, Chairman of Central, said:

“After 30 years in business together, Andy has decided to retire.  I recognise his contributions to the success of the company, and we wish him lots of luck for the future…”

It is an understatement to say that we are very sad to see him go.

The Future of Central Training Group

But of course, this announcement also brings good news!

We have the pleasure to tell you that Primrose Campbell has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Central Training Group. Martin Kolton continues as Chairman, and together with the staff, we look forward to taking the company to the next level!

Martin continued:

“We are on track to having a very successful year and have several new and exciting projects in the pipeline. Central is a thriving and growing organisation and we will be celebrating our 40th year in 2023…”.

Ofsted have continually stated that the support that learners and apprentices receive at Central is highly effective and the good-quality mentoring enables them to stay in learning.  Central started their training journey over 37 years ago, and have grown from having 200 learners to over 1,500 learners on our programmes in 2020.

Central’s new Managing Director, Prim, owner Martin, and the teams at Central and their partners, are passionate about giving people opportunities to progress, develop and achieve their full potential.
