At Central Training Academy in Clacton, there are different routes to choose from.

We offer free courses for 16–19 year-olds, with opportunities also available for young people up to the age of 25 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

Hairdressing
Interested in hair, styling and working with people?

Develop practical hairdressing techniques, build your confidence working with clients and work towards recognised qualifications that can help you progress within the industry.

Interested in a more technical route? T Level pathways in areas including digital and business may also be available, along with a Foundation T Level pathway for learners who need some additional preparation.

Didn’t get the GCSE results you wanted?

Don’t panic. Your GCSE results don’t have to decide your whole future.

If you didn’t get the grades you hoped for, have changed your mind about your original plans or have started a course that doesn’t feel right, there may be other options available.
