Our learners at Central Training Academy’s Clacton centre are coming together for a sponsored charity walk to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.
Why We’re Fundraising
The fundraising initiative has been organised in memory of a fellow student who received care from Great Ormond Street Hospital. Wanting to give something back, his classmates chose to support the charity and the life-changing work it carries out for seriously ill children and their families.
The Central Training Academy class of 2026 would like to complete a collective group of walks which make up the distance between Central Training Group in Clacton to Great Ormond Street Hospital and back. This is a total of 162 miles.
The charity walk is a reflection of the compassion, kindness and community spirit shown by our learners. Every step taken and every donation received will help Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity continue providing vital care, funding ground-breaking research and supporting families when they need it most.
