Central Training Academy Wins Best Hair and Beauty Apprenticeship Provider Award at 2023 AAC Apprenticeship Awards

Central Training Academy is proud to announce that it was awarded the Best Hair and Beauty Apprenticeship Provider Award at the 2023 AAC National Apprenticeship Awards.

The AAC awards are an annual event recognizing excellence in apprenticeship training providers, and the award selection process takes place over a period of several months.

We were awarded the prestigious award for its outstanding commitment to providing quality apprenticeships in the hair and beauty industry. Central Training Academy has always been dedicated to ensuring it provides the highest level of education, training, and support for its students, and this award reflects the hard work and dedication of the team.

At the Ninth Annual Apprenticeship Conference Awards in Birmingham, a ceremony of exclusivity and grandeur, twenty prestigious trophies were presented to individuals, training providers, employers, universities, and colleges for their contributions to the apprenticeship world. City and Guilds proudly hosted this remarkable event that cheered on 375 nominations across nineteen categories.

Shane Mann, Managing Director at FE Week’s publisher Lsect and AAC awards co-host, expressed his immense elation with the extraordinary nominations: “We were overwhelmed by both their number and quality. Our winners illustrate that excellence is achieved when dedicated professionals are devoted to the apprentice experience, prioritizing it above all else. Tonight we can proudly proclaim that our apprenticeships sector is unparalleled. Congratulations to all of the victors, as well as our team of judges, sponsors, and partners—we could not have done it without you!”

Meeting the needs of employers and apprentices alike

The AAC Apprenticeship Awards recognize the best of the best when it comes to apprenticeship training providers. This year’s finalists were selected from a pool of applicants representing the entire spectrum of industries across the UK. The judging panel was impressed by Central Training Academy and all other winners focus on developing innovative solutions to meet the needs of employers and apprentices alike, as well as its dedication to creating an environment where apprentices can thrive.

Skills, apprenticeships and HE minister Robert Halfon delivered the closing keynote speech at the Annual Apprenticeships Conference in Birmingham.

"I know some of the best representatives of apprenticeship provision are here today. I want to thank you for all the brilliant work you’re doing to support apprentices, apprenticeship provision and the wider programme. Your work is powering the government skill revolution along with T Levels and higher technical qualifications, apprenticeships together, we are bringing forward the skilled workers that companies are crying out for, helping people climb the ladder of opportunity to get those fulfilling career building jobs."

Commenting on the win, Primrose Campbell, Managing Director said “We are delighted to have received this award as recognition of our commitment to providing an exceptional apprenticeship program. This achievement is the latest of awards that Central is proud of.
