Welcome to Central Hairdressing Competition 2025! Do you have what it takes to stand out from the crowd and create an eye-catching hairstyle that will make heads turn? Do you possess the social prowess to promote yourself online?

If so, now’s your chance to show off your skills! Enter our amazing competition for a shot at winning. All you have to do is put together one spectacular hairstyle, create a mood board, take a photo and a video, and send them over to your Central Hairdressing tutor.

This year there will be 3 prizes! What are you waiting for? Get creative and let your vision shine through – we can’t wait to see what you come up with!

how to enter the

central hairdressing competition

1 – Create and Submit

Plan and create a mood board for your design.
Execute the design on a model or mannequin.
Take a photo of your masterpiece.
Shoot a 10 sec video showcasing your work.
Send your photo and video, along with your mood board to your Central Hairdressing Tutor before the deadline.

2 – Follow Us

Follow us on Instagram, if you’re not already. @centralhairdressing

3 – Share and Get Likes

Once we post your creation, get busy and start sharing to get likes.

Winning is easy, after you’ve submitted your entry, follow us on Instagram, and once your submission is posted, get as many likes as you can!

How can I get more likes? Here are some ideas to get you started:

We will be checking all likes carefully to make sure they are genuine votes. Any suspicion of using bots for likes will lead to disqualification.

Conditions of entry

By entering you agree to the following terms and conditions.
The look that you enter must be created in the presence of your college tutor or salon trainer/assessor.
Entries submitted may be on live models, any gender or on a mannequin.
Entries must be photographed in front of a Central Hairdressing back drop or a plain background. Entries submitted on any other backgrounds will not be accepted.
Clothing must be appropriate, display no offensive logo’s and cover all body parts.
Competition entry deadline is 5pm on 30/04/2025. Entries after this time will not be included in the competition.
By entering you confirm that the model is over 16 years old and has consented for the image to be shared.
All images and videos submitted become property of Central Training Group and may be used for publicity and promotional purposes.
Votes are in the form of ‘likes’ from Instagram accounts that are following @centalhairdressing.
To cast a vote, the voter must follow @centralhairdressing on Instagram and ‘like’ the post. Only likes from followers will be counted.
All votes are subject to scrutiny at the discretion of Central Training Group. Suspected use of fake accounts or ‘bots’ will result in disqualification and immediate withdrawal of the entry.

The look with the most verified ‘likes’ wins
Voting closes at 12.00pm on 30/05/2025
The winners will be announced via Instagram on 04/06/2025
1st place will receive a prize of £500.
2nd place will receive the prize of £300.
3rd place will receive the prize of £200.
The winner must be available on the 04/06/2025 for promotional photographs and consents to the images being used for publicity purposes.
